Background:
A year before her graduation with a B.A. Journalism degree, she started working with the South-Indian daily, The Hindu as an arts and lifestyle freelancer. She also indulged in new digital journalism ventures with The Tease Inc, an experiment alongside her specialisation in Arts and Culture.
Abhirami is also a theatre artist, part-time business owner, and the co-founder/producer of An Unexplored Mic. She looks to bridge art, pop culture, mental health consciousness and inclusivity in her work.
